Areas serviced by our Financial Services transactional practice include syndicated lending, leveraged finance, aerospace finance, mining finance, asset-based loans, project and infrastructure finance, energy finance, equipment finance, real estate finance, structured finance, and securitizations. Blakes regularly acts as counsel to many of Canada’s major financial institutions, as well as U.S., European and other non-Canadian financial services providers.
Our multidisciplinary team regularly advises leading U.S., European, Asian and other non-Canadian banks and their affiliates on structuring cross-border arrangements in compliance with Canada’s banking legislation and other applicable Canadian laws. We also assist clients in their dealings with federal, provincial and industry regulators.
