Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, one of Canada’s largest and most successful law firms, has an opening for a mid-level Legal Assistant.
Responsibilities associated with this position include: drafting correspondence, document preparation; scheduling and arranging work-related travel arrangements and speaking engagements; maintaining the physical and electronic filing system; and reviewing emails.
This position has a significant administrative component and the successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills; as well as a heightened attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two to five years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMS, PDF docs and InterAction. The candidate will be required to work both independently and collaboratively with other firm members and colleagues. It is an expectation that the candidate will present in a professional manner and maintain a high level of confidentiality when interfacing with internal and external clients.
